Introduced the Solo Book Column 

Upon landing, I introduced the solo book feed column to make the company's feed more visually appealing. The Solo Book Column would consist of a way for the target audience to get individual book recommendations and provide the bookstore with a way to promote new releases or best sellers. 

The Solo Book Column has continued to be implemented since.

Presented followers with a Staff Spotlight

Introduced staff members through Instagram by highlighting them along with their current favorite books and/or products. This allowed the emotions associated with entering a small, locally owned bookstore to come alive through their Instagram feed. Staff Spotlight provided its followers with an instant connection to familiar faces (staff members) to the physicality of being in the store and surrounded by the books and products they love. It additionally allowed delivered boosts of serotonin to staff members as it showcased how essential each and every one of them is to the character and charm of the bookstore!

Curated Book / Famous Author Quote Posts

What better way to engage a following of bibliophiles (book lovers) than by providing them with quotes from the authors/books that they love? The incorporation of quotes gave followers a way to engage with the page. These posts increased KPIs (i.e., likes, shares, and reposts onto stories).
